Complete in a locking wooden display case with glass viewing lid and key. An additional number "RS0053" is engraved on the right side of the frame. The grips are bound in snakeskin with a medallion inlayed in the left side reading "COLT LEGACY EDITION / LIMITED EDITION". The trigger, screws, slide release, safety, barrel bushing and hammer are all gold finished. The left side of the slide is etched in gold, "COLT RATTLESNAKE LEGACY EDITION" in a banner entangled with a rattlesnake and "ONE of 1000" within a crest behind the serrations. Please Note: All prices include the hammer price plus the buyer’s premium, which is paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price. Case has a minor ding & a few scratches on front, otherwise is equally fine. CONDITION: New & unfired, pistol retains virtually all of its orig factory finish.
Also accompanied by its orig light colored wood display case with faux bamboo top & glass interior in the lid with green velvet lining in bottom, fitted for the pistol, a silver rectangular plaque & seven chrome plated dummy cartridges. Fitted with smooth rosewood grips with gold medallions & accompanied by an orig satin chrome magazine. Right side of slide is inscribed “WORLD WAR II COMMEMORATIVE / PACIFIC THEATER OF OPERATIONS”. Company name & address and a rampant Colt are on left front of frame.
